Pelham Fire receives state equipment grant

Equipment grant to replace exhaust removal system and boots

Pelham Fire Department is pleased to announce we have been awarded a 2025 Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant from Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security / Massachusetts Department of Fire Services. The grant in the amount of $10,437.50 will be used to replace our exhaust removal system, a system that attaches to all apparatus in the station to remove harmful exhaust fumes when the vehicles are running, entering or exiting the station. A portion of the grant will also be used to replace firefighters turn out gear boots.
