Delivery in 9 to 12 months
Thanks to the generosity of the residents of Pelham, today we signed a contract to order our new tanker. Our existing tanker is a 1990, purchased 35 years ago. While this tanker has served Pelham and neighboring communities very well for all these years, she is tired and ready to be retired. At the fall town meeting, Pelham residents voted to purchase a new tanker from capital stabilization funds as a capital improvement project. After meeting with many vendors and manufacturers, we are moving forward with a 2025 Freightliner 3400 gal tanker, with a 1250 gpm Hale pump manufactured by Helie Fire Apparatus. We should be taking delivery in 9 to 12 months. We will keep you updated of the progress as the truck is being built. THANK YOU all for your support.
