The Pelham DPW maintains all aspects of Town right-of ways, participate with FRCOG for Regional Bid Program, work with Town employees on maintenance of Town facilities and offices, maintain all Town department vehicles, department equipment, and department buildings, respond to emergencies for roads (trees/flooding), apply for and manage Chapter 90 funds from the State, plow, salt and sand all town roadways, mill, pave and patch paved roads, grade and fill dirt roads, maintenance and proactive inspection of brush and trees to ensure right of ways are clear and safe, inspection/replacement of culverts, ditches and shoulder for proper water flow, and lawn mowing of town owned spaces.
Important Alert:
The bridge on North Valley Road located between house numbers 237 and 275 will be closed indefinately due to a failure. Please seek an alternate route. Also a note that there is no turnaround for large trucks at the closure sign locations.
